Visitor Enhanced Optimization

Everyone should create their websites without the search engines taking priority. But that's what everyone does already isn't it?
Most people don't create WebPages that are keyword rich and use hyphenated links to help the search engines but rather to make it easier for your readers, right?
You decide to write articles so they will benefit your readers and not with the search engines in mind so they will rank you higher, correct?
And of course you don't use Wordtracker to choose your keywords but rather what your readers would like, correct?

Getting my point yet?

Everyone is so focused on producing ultra search engine friendly sites that they forget who is actually reading and using the site and who actually brings them their reward; the human not the search engine spider! This may seem a very obvious to a marketer or someone who deals with sales, but for the majority us we do not possess the ability to create websites that do both. This is because people spend far too much time concentrating on how their content will affect the search engines and not enough time on how it their readers will interpret it. Most content created is thought up with a plan in mind, you will most likely want to submit your article to RSS feeds, article directories, blogs etc and submit your site to websites such as Digg or your videos to sites such as Youtube. And all the time the human who actually reads all this stuff is being forgotten, after all they are the ones who will bookmark your site, tell their friends and hopefully return. If a user is satisfied by what they have found on your site and finds it a worthwhile read they will tell others, it's in their nature. They may even decide to link to your site and this will be even more beneficial. It may already occur on the web already in a big way but social networking can really benefit a site and your readers can do this by telling their friends in work, school or wherever. My advice to you is to build your site with the reader in mind and not the search engines spider.
